"Mamoru Oshii" suggested that a plan of "Patlabor into a live-action Film" went by a talk of a Internet.
He has denied the question of "Patlabor into a live-action Film" beginning.

However, he have a statement that suggests "I suddenly became busy over the past three years but I was free" and "Patlabor into a live-action Film" in conversation gradually.
